Slovakia Pictures – This is why I Fought

Here are some random photos from various places we went to in Slovakia. I meant to post them while I was still there but I fell behind. They are all over Slovakia and these pictures appear in no particular order and are out of order regarding the dates.

What I personally take from skimming over all these pictures is that I really can do so much even though at times it’s hard to see anything but what I can’t do. All I can think about is my old neurologist telling me (after I got out of physical rehab) that she would not prescribe Tysabri and that I just need to start getting used to the wheelchair because “it is the coarse of the disease”. Well I fought, worked hard, got Tysabri, and have since traveled the world with a girl I would have never been with if I just sat in that wheel chair! I may not be able to run or climb like I used to but because I chose not to listen to her and instead keep fighting and pursuing a better doctor, I have seen many things that most people will never see in their life. Get used to THAT!

Wow, I read your blog from my MS diagnosis, but never thought you will someday visit my country 🙂 hope you like Slovakia …
Wish you all the best and hope that you won't rely just on potentially dangerous Tysabri and also try some hollistic approach (diet, more frequent and vigorous excercise, vitamin D3). Reading your blog, I'm not the first one to recommend you OMS program . It really helped me, you should give it a try.
    Wishing you all the best.

Hey! Yeah I would have never guessed in a million years! I dont rely just on Tysabri, I do eat decent and exercise. I have not been doing much of that lately and I feel it… So I need to get back on track….
