Well, I have been off my blog for a while while I was in Ireland and Slovakia, but now I am back and I need to ease back into the blogging thing. I got back a couple nights ago but I have been a little jet lagged from the 8 hour time difference so I have just been resting… now I am feeling a little better… especially after a cup of coffee today. I got an electric kettle and some instant coffee because it actually helped with MS-related digestion issues while I was in Ireland (try it out if your not sensitive to caffeine) but it’s funny, I am not sure what is so different about this coffee, but the caffeine really got to me! It was like I did a bunch of drugs because I was just so pumped up all morning! This usually does not happen so it was pretty weird! 2 teaspoons of coffee mix, 2 brown sugars, and a little milk and I was rushing around getting stuff done!
Anyways, this time around, Ireland did not have the same effects on me. Last time I went winter was lasting a little longer than usual and was around 32F-45F (0C-8C) and I felt amazing! This time it was in the 60’s (Around 15C) and it was nice because I could go outside but at times when I moved around I still felt myself warming up so I look forward to my next infusion of Tysabri (in one week) and a round of Acthar. It’s much nicer here at home now then when I left; I don’t think I will be running my A/C anymore, so once I do my infusion I will slowly start a work out routine back up and start using my gym membership that I am paying for.
Now the fun stuff! I have been setting this up for a while now but I wanted to wait till it was closer to the date to mention it; I was approached and asked to consult for Biogen (The people who make Tysabri, Avonex, Tecfidera, and Fampyra.
