Tysabri # 6, Acthar, Zoloft, Aubagio

I just got back from my sixth Tysabri infusion… Yes, I barely finished my 6th infusion, feels like I have been on it for so much longer. Granted, I did miss two infusion but still, I have definitely come a long way from where I was when I first started.

I am also switching from Celexa (Citalopram) to Zoloft (Sertraline) since I have obviously been feeling extremely depressed lately and my depression has been debilitation in itself… I will resume some Acthar this month as well since IVIG did not do anything… Did I ever talk abut that or did I forget to mention it?

Lastly, I am going to try to go to a speaking event tomorrow where my neurologist will be talking about the MS therapy Aubagio. I talked to another nurse today and she said my neurologist had been switching patients from Tysabri to Aubagio, I have heard of this medication but I honestly know nothing about it, so I want to learn a bit about that. I really can’t write today, my hands are being weird and I have no motivation, but I just wanted to mention some quick facts before I forget.
