I'm originally from Long Beach, CA, but I came to Boston last August for graduate school. The city is moving forward with its normal life today while also taking the time to help those in need. I must say that I am amazed at the resilience and kindness I am seeing in the locals here. My heart will always be in California, but I sure do <3 Boston today.

I think 9/11 changed the "helping mentality" of the nation to be honest, it's a great thing
