Acthar (ACTH) Injection – Update Log

Photobucket

Acthar, also called ACTH, is a hormone in the body that when released tells the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, a natural steroid. This drug is used in people who can not handle steroids or no longer respond to steroids such as Prednisone or Solu-Medrol which are artificial steroids. Oh yeah, Acthar? $23,000 USD per vile (5 injections). Solu-Medrol? $47 USD per 1,000mg. No wonder I have never heard of this… No room for profit!

So I am going to be on this (Acthar) for 10 days, then, in December 2012, I will be on Tysabri. I hope this works some! I Will Post all my updates in the next ten days here, Then a few days after that as  it will take time to kick in! Fingers crossed because this is a big needle to stab myself with for nothing!
