This is a continuation of my previous audio journals, at this point, I now have voice recognition software and am journaling straight to my computer.

Yesterday, it seemed as though my vision may be getting worse… It felt like I spent an hour staring directly into a light bulb, the center of my vision is very blurry both close up and far away. It is still pretty subtle, so I’m just going to keep an eye on it (LOL poor choice of expression?) over the next couple days to see how it goes… Went out to dinner last night with a few friends, and did not bring wheelchair, so again my walking is continuously improving along with my balance. I can once again balance on one leg, not for long, not very well, but more than I could have a week ago. Right leg is much better than the left as before.
Important note: I started my oral steroids on Saturday, today is Wednesday and I forgot to take my medicine both Monday and Tuesday… I skiped those days, and am trying to resume my regular schedule. I reset my alarm on my phone to remind me to take my medication every morning, so hopefully this is not going to happen again…

I’ve been making great progress in the last couple of days, my vision does not seem to be getting worse after all. Walking of course is the greatest of my improvements so far and the fine motor control in my left hand is showing small signs of improvement as well. Balance, has been improving with my walking but at a slightly slower rate. Once again, I can balance on one foot! My right foot, is much better than my left, in fact, I can even hop on my right foot now, left foot..? Not so much…
Also, I have been on top of my medication in the last couple of days, so that’s probably helping… Making myself food is becoming much easier, in fact, today I even cooked myself breakfast for the first time in a really long time and yesterday I was actually able to go outside and get the mail! Today, I plan on helping my mom with a little garage organization, nothing fun, but I look forward to it simply because I’m actually well enough to do something useful around the house finally… I’m really hoping, that within the next week or two I will be able to drive again, just got to keep my rate of recovery up! Although, a week might be overly wishful thinking… we shall see.
Also, just wanted to note really quick, still having trouble sleeping, I forgot to mention before that my back has been hurting really bad when I try to lay down at night, probably for at least the last week or so. Last night I did a lot of stretching before I went to bed and it seemed to help a little bit. I went to bed around 1 AM and for some reason woke up wide awake at about 6 AM… I didn’t feel great, but I could not get myself to fall back asleep… Oh no! Just remembered I forgot to take my medication this morning, have to go do that right now!!!!
